Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to feature a revamped rear panel design, according to newly surfaced dummy unit images. The leaked images, shared on X by tipster Sonny Dickson, suggest that Apple is making major changes to the Pro models while the standard iPhone 17 may retain its predecessor's design.
The iPhone 16 Plus is also speculated to be replaced by a new model, dubbed the iPhone 17 Air.
The leaked image supports earlier reports that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will adopt a glass-aluminium rear panel. According to the leak, the glass section is expected to cover the lower half of the device, including the MagSafe area, while the aluminium frame may encircle this section and extend around the expanded camera module at the top.
