During Day 2 of the opening Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, viewers were left stunned after the host broadcasters flashed a completely incorrect team graphic while attempting to display the Pakistan Playing XI's Test statistics.
Instead of Pakistan's squad, the on-screen graphic showed an entirely Indian lineup, with Rohit Sharma listed as captain of the “Pakistan XI”.
The bizarre lineup included Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Kumar. In an added twist, Virat Kohli was nowhere to be seen in the mistakenly displayed XI.
Screenshots of the graphic quickly spread across social media platform X, triggering a wave of memes, jokes and rivalry banter.

Many users mocked the sheer absurdity of the mistake, sharing the "broadcasting blunder" from Day 2 on their feeds.
Some fans speculated, mostly tongue-in-cheek, that the graphic's team too couldn't stop thinking about Team India.
Fans even accused Pakistan of adopting the Indian players to succeed in the longest format.
Some fans noted that this could just mean that the cricketing boards had employed a broadcaster who produces matches for Team India and is adapting those graphics for this match.
Despite the viral off-field moment, the Test itself produced plenty of action on the field.
Bangladesh dominated the opening innings after Pakistan opted to bowl first. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto struck a fluent 101 off 130 balls, while Mominul Haque added 91 and Mushfiqur Rahim contributed 71 as Bangladesh posted 413.
Mohammad Abbas (5/92) was Pakistan's standout bowler with a five-wicket haul, while Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up three wickets despite conceding 113 runs.
Pakistan responded positively with the bat and reached 179/1 by stumps on Day 2. Openers Azan Awais (85*) and Imam-Ul-Haq (45) laid the foundation with a 106-run opening stand. Abdullah Fazal (37*) came in after the dismissal of Imam to keep the scoreboard ticking.
Pakistan currently trail their hosts by 234 runs at the end of Day 2.
