IPL 2026 Groups

As in previous editions, the teams have been divided into two groups based on their title records. Group A features Chennai Super Kings (5 titles), Kolkata Knight Riders (3), Rajasthan Royals (1), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (1) and Punjab Kings, while Group B includes Mumbai Indians (5), Sunrisers Hyderabad (1), Gujarat Titans (1), Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants.

Over the previous three editions, franchises faced their group rivals twice, while meeting teams from the other pool just once. This season, however, the IPL has flipped that arrangement, with sides now clashing once within their group and twice against opponents from the other group.

Rajasthan Royals will stage four games in Jaipur, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru are due to host three fixtures in Bengaluru and two in Raipur.
