The company said its domestic subscription revenue increased about 3% to Rs 485.46 crore, while advertisement revenue stood at Rs 282.51 crore. EBITDA rose about 19% to Rs 732.99 crore and standalone profit after tax increased about 16% to Rs 611.97 crore, according to its earnings release.

The quarter also benefited from Sun TV's cricket franchise operations. Income from its cricket franchises stood at Rs 629.83 crore, compared with Rs 473.03 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Sun TV's board declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share, representing a 100% dividend on the Rs 5 face-value share, for FY27. The dividend was approved at the board meeting held on Aug. 12.
