Highlights from the post-earnings conference call:
Dixon Technologies (India) Limited management said that while the cost of chips used in mobile phone manufacturing has increased, leading to higher component prices, there is currently no shortage of chips affecting production. The company expects mobile phone volumes to grow 12-15% year-on-year in the April-June quarter and anticipates stronger quarter-on-quarter growth in the segment starting from the first quarter of FY27. Management also said that the information technology products business is expected to generate more than Rs 4000 crore in revenue during FY27. The comments were made during the post-earnings analyst call after the company reported a decline in consolidated net profit in the March quarter, marking the first drop in profit in 17 quarters.
