Made In Korea Beats Dhurandhar, Border 2; Tops Netflix Global Charts For Second Week In A Row

Indian cinema has been thriving. Apart from the massive success of both Dhurandhars at the domestic as well as global level, Indian cinema has also topped Netflix's Non-English chart. What made a historic moment is the ranking of a South Indian film as the most viewed in Netflix's Global Top 10 (Non-English) chart for the third week of March 2026.

In a historic turn of events, Made In Korea, a Tamil cross-cultural movie, has topped Netflix's Global Non-English chart, beating big names like Border 2 and Dhurandhar. Directed by Ra Karthik, Made In Korea stars Priyanka Mohan, Baek Si-hoon, and Park Hye-jin. It officially premiered on Netflix on March 12, 2026.

The chart was topped by Made In Korea with over 67 million views and 12.7 million hours of watch time. It has ranked first in the non-English movies twice in a row in the month of March. Followed by Made In Korea, the second spot was taken by Border 2 with 33 million views. However, Dhurandhar was pushed to the 3rd spot in the third week of March with 23 million views.

This moment was quickly celebrated by the actors as well as fans, where the top 3 movies were Indian cinema. Made In Korea director Ra Karthik took to Instagram to appreciate the moment. He wrote, "For the first time, a South Indian film has reached this kind of global scale, and to sustain it into the second week makes it even more special."

Continuing the praise, he also gave a special mention to the lead actress Priyanka Mohan and said, "So proud that a female-centric film has achieved this reach. @priyankaamohanofficial happy for you, your efforts shine!"

Previously, the director had also praised Priyanka Mohan as he shared, "Shenba… @priyankaamohan.
