Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy film Bhooth Bangla is currently in its fourth week at the box office. With an impressive first two weeks, the film eventually slowed down with steady collections.

Bhooth Bangla - Box Office Collection Day 22

On Day 22, the film has collected Rs 0.47 crore across 2,165 shows so far, reports Sacnilk. With the numbers still coming in, the total India gross collections now stand at Rs 178.53 crore. The total India net is currently valued at Rs 150.47 crore.

By the end of Day 21, the film's total worldwide gross stood at Rs 234.93 crore.

Occupancy - Day 22

With the day currently going on, the film has recorded a very low overall occupancy. The morning shows stood low at 3.85%. With the weekend ahead, and the afternoon, evening, and night shows yet to commence, the overall data for Day 22 is expected to show improvement.

Region-Wise Breakdown

The National Capital Region (NCR) led with 501 shows. However, it recorded a low overall occupancy of 5.0% so far. Ahmedabad, with 190 shows, reported just 2.0%, while Mumbai, with 160 shows, performed slightly better at 5.0%. So far, Bengaluru has recorded the highest occupancy of 7.0% across 43 shows. Several other regions have also reported low occupancies of below 6% as of now.

Box Office Performance So Far

The film collected Rs 3.75 crore on Day 0 (paid previews). It opened strongly with Rs 12.25 crore. The film further registered a solid opening weekend, collecting Rs 19 crore on Saturday and Rs 23 crore on Sunday. The first Monday (Day 4) fell sharply to Rs 6.75 crore.

With the usual weekday fallout, the film maintained steady collections and closed Week 1 at Rs 84.40 crore. The second weekend boosted the total collections by earning Rs 10.75 crore on Saturday (Day 9) and Rs 12.50 crore on Sunday. (Day 10)

The second week witnessed slower collections and lower occupancy. The film wrapped up Week 2 with a net collection of Rs 43.75 crore.

The third weekend collected single-digit figures amid steady collections. With a big drop in the number of screens, the film closed Week 3 with a net collection of Rs 21.85 crore.
