Emily in Paris will return for Season 6, with filming set to begin in May 2026 and Greece and Monaco joining the story as new locations. Emily's journey is moving beyond Paris again, opening a fresh chapter for one of Netflix's most-watched series.
The update matters because the show has built a global following through travel-led storytelling, returning relationships and recurring cast arcs. New destinations and unresolved storylines are likely to keep fan interest high ahead of the next season.
New Chapter
Created by Darren Star, the series has used European locations as a key part of its identity. Earlier seasons featured Rome, Venice, Saint-Tropez and Megeve.
Season 6 is expected to bring a different tone with the scenic setting of Greece and the luxury backdrop of Monaco.

Cast Returns
Lily Collins will return as Emily. She will be joined by Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery.
The cast appeared at PaleyFest LA on April 10, 2026, adding to fan anticipation.
Potential Plot
The full plot has not been revealed, but the ending of Season 5 offered clues. Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo, sends Emily a postcard inviting her to Greece, suggesting their relationship may continue.
Darren Star had earlier described Gabriel as Emily's "big love" during an interview with Variety. That points to more romance and conflict in the next season.
Season 5 also explored a more mature storyline as Emily navigated life in Rome and new relationships. That emotional direction may continue in Season 6.
The series remains a strong performer for Netflix. According to Variety, Season 5 debuted at No. 2 on the platform's Top 10 with 13.5 million views in four days, followed by 13.3 million views in the next week.
The show is produced by Paramount Television Studios, Darren Star Productions and Jax Media, with Lily Collins also serving as a producer.
