Candidates are allowed to modify these fields

Candidates may revise one of the following: candidate name or parent name; or all undergraduate and postgraduate details; or selected examination city; or date of birth, gender, category/PwD/PwBD (if not UID verified), and signature image upload. Those who registered using identities other than Aadhaar can also alter Aadhaar details. Examination states that cities can be adjusted separately.

"Final correction shall be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if required. In case of a change in Category, or PwD/PwBD status, if there is an impact on the fee amount, then the candidate will be charged an excess fee as applicable. Excess payment made will not be refunded, if any,” stated the NTA in an official announcement.

The NTET 2026 amendment option is the only opportunity for registered candidates. Therefore, the testing agency has urged them to make changes “very carefully", as no further chance will be provided. Candidates experiencing any challenges in updating their NTET 2026 application form may reach out to the NTA help desk at 011-40759000 or email ntet@nta.ac.in.
