MHT CET To Close Registration For BTech, BPharm Exams Today: Steps To Register For Entrance Exam

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell is set to conclude the 2026 MHT CET registration for PCM and PCB today, Feb. 20. Applicants can complete their MHT CET application on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

According to the timetable, the MHT CET 2026 examination will take place in two sessions. The initial session is scheduled from April 11 to 26, while the subsequent session will occur from May 10 to May 17.

Follow the steps outlined below to fill out the MHT CET 2026 application form.

Step 1: Visit the official MH CET website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Step 2: Select the “New Registration” option.

Step 3: Provide your personal, educational, and contact information.

Step 4: Indicate the MHT CET 2026 exam category (PCM or PCB).

Step 5: Upload your photo and signature adhering to the specified format and dimensions.

Step 6: Make the MHT CET application fee payment online.

Step 7: Finalise the MHT CET form submission and obtain a printed copy for your records.

Based on the registration data for MHT CET 2026, as of Feb. 4, a total of 1,34,896 candidates have enrolled for the MH CET PCB first session and 58,764 for the second session, whereas 2,55,822 candidates signed up for the MH CET PCM first session and 1,78,168 for the second session.

Increased application fee

Recently, the Maharashtra Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) raised the application fee for MHT CET 2026. According to the updated fee structure, candidates from the open category are required to remit Rs 1,300, whereas applicants from other categories must pay Rs 1,000.

Candidates taking the MHT CET 2026 need to provide their Aadhaar number and APAAR ID during the registration process. 

It is essential for candidates to ensure their Aadhaar information is current, including their name, birthdate (in line with the Class 10 certificate), recent photograph, father's name, address, and an active mobile number linked to their Aadhaar account.
