The final date to submit objections against the provisional answer keys for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 is April 13, 2026, as per the NTA. The window for filing an objection against the tentative answers is set until 11:50 PM. Any objections submitted post this deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.

The provisional answer keys, accompanied by the question paper and the response sheet for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), are accessible on the website. Students who have taken the examination can review their answers and submit objections accordingly.

JEE Main 2026: Objection fee & deadline

To challenge a response, candidates must pay a fee of Rs 200 for each question, which is a non-refundable processing charge. Payments can be made via the following methods: debit card, credit card, and net banking. Any challenge submitted without a fee payment will not be processed.

The deadline for fee payment will coincide with that of objection submission and will close on April 13, 2026, at 11:50 PM. Candidates are not permitted to utilize any other mode of payment.

JEE Main 2026: Follow this guide to check & file objections

Step 1. Navigate to the official site of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2. Select the link for the JEE Main session. 2. Answer key 2026 objection portal found on the homepage.

Step 3. A new window will open where candidates need to input their login information.

Step 4: Hit submit, and your answer key will appear.

Step 5. Review the answer key and select the response you wish to contest.

Step 6. Complete the payment for the processing fee.

Step 7. Click submit and save the confirmation page.

Step 8. Retain a printed copy for future reference.

In the event of any legitimate objection, the answer key will be adjusted. This revised answer key will be consistently applied across all participants, and the ultimate results will be generated based on the revised answer key.
