Assam Board Set To Declare Class 12 Result Tomorrow — Check Details

The Assam State School Education Board is set to announce the Class 12 results on April 28, as confirmed by minister Ranoj Pegu.

Results for the science, arts, and commerce disciplines will be accessible on the official websites, asseb.in and ahsec.assam.gov.in, where students can log in using their roll numbers to view their scores. Earlier this month, the board had already released the Class 10 results.

Students in Assam HS Class 12 will need their login credentials to view the 2026 intermediate results online. Upon entering the necessary information, they can download their provisional scorecards. The online results are for immediate use only; students must obtain the original mark sheets from their respective schools.

Follow these steps to check & download results via the website: 

  • Step 1: Head to ahsec.assam.gov.in or resultsassam.nic.in
  • Step 2: Select the link for “HS Final Result 2026”
  • Step 3: Input your roll and ID number
  • Step 4: Press the “submit” button.
  • Step 5: Check your results displayed on the screen
  • Step 6: Download and save the marksheet.

Follow these steps to check & download via DigiLocker app

  • Step 1: Open Digilocker app and sign in using your registered mobile number and OTP
  • Step 2: Navigate to the “Education” or “Results” category
  • Step 3: Look for Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC)
  • Step 4: Choose “HS Result 2026” or Class 12 marksheet selection
  • Step 5: Input necessary details such as roll number
  • Step 6: Check your results and download the digital marksheet
  • Step 7: Preserve or print it for future reference

Minimum Passing Marks

To successfully complete the Assam HS Class 12 examination, students must attain at least 33% marks in every subject separately, in both theoretical and practical sections. Furthermore, they should also fulfil the overall cumulative requirement established by the board.

This year's ASSEB Class 12 examinations took place from February 11 to March 16. In the previous year, the ASSEB results were made public on April 30 for tests held between February 13 and March 17, with over 302,420 students participating.
