It's the second hike in CNG prices within two days. Prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) have been hiked by Rs 1/kg in Delhi. The prices now stands at Rs 80.09 per kilogram.
This is a day after Indraprastha Gas Ltd. hiked the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 2 per kg in Delhi, a day after a similar hike was announced in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
CNG retail prices, effective from 6:00 AM on May 15, 2026, vary across cities, with rates in Delhi at Rs 80.09 per kg, while Noida and Ghaziabad are priced higher at Rs 87.70 per kg each. Nearby cities such as Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli have slightly lower rates of Rs 87.58 per kg.
In Haryana, Gurugram stands at Rs 84.12 per kg, Rewari at Rs 83.70 per kg, Karnal at Rs 83.43 per kg and Kaithal at Rs 84.43 per kg.
Prices are higher in parts of Uttar Pradesh, with Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur each at Rs 90.42 per kg.
In Rajasthan, Ajmer and Pali report CNG prices at Rs 88.44 per kg.
The revision comes amid disruptions in global energy markets linked to the ongoing Iran conflict, after recent increases in petrol and diesel prices.
