Budget 2025: Syrma SGS Technology And Dixon Technologies Shares Decline

Shares of Syrma SGS Technology and Dixon Technologies stocks declined on Saturday as the government announced a Centre of Excellence for AI in Education to be established with an investment of Rs 500 crore during the Union Budget 2025–26, led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The finance minister stated, "I had announced three Centres of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for agriculture, health, and sustainable cities in 2023. Now a Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for education will be set up with a total outlay of 500 crore," in her speech on budget day.

Stocks of the semiconductor players had a mixed performance post the reveal, with Syrma SGS Technology falling 2.98% to the day's low of Rs 516.20 apiece. The firm posted a loss of 0.10% at Rs 530.50 apiece as of 2:49 p.m.

Shares of Dixon Technologies followed suit, falling 9.18% to Rs 13,610 apiece. The firm posted a loss of 0.91% at Rs 1,844 apiece as of 2:51 p.m.
