From Bhagya Shree Jain To Aniket Damle: These Indians Are On Forbes 30-Under-30 Asia List

The list includes personalities from 21 countries and territories throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Notably, India emerged as the frontrunner with 86 entries.

The Forbes '30 Under 30 Asia' list dropped recently, spotlighting the brightest young talents across the continent who are making waves in various fields. 

Among the diverse group of trailblazers featured on the prestigious list are several outstanding individuals from India, representing a wide range of industries and disciplines, from tech innovators and social entrepreneurs to creative visionaries and business leaders.

The list includes personalities from 21 countries and territories throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Notably, India emerged as the frontrunner with 86 entries, trailed by China and Japan with 32 each, Singapore with 27, Australia with 26, and Indonesia with 18.

Some of the Indians included in the list include:

Prachi Shevgaonkar

25-year-old Prachi Shevgaonkar created an app called Cool The Globe, which allows users to set their own personal climate goals and metrics. It aims to help India deal with climate change. 

Founders Of Thinkerbell Labs

Sanskriti Dawle, Dilip Ramesh, Saif Shaikh and Aman Srivastava. This quartet co-founded Thinkerbell Labs to create the innovative product Annie, a device to help people learn Braille on their own. Designed to empower visually impaired children, Annie facilitates reading, writing, and typing in Braille, with game-based learning. Responses are monitored by a cloud-based network of Braille users. 

Shiv Kumar

Another innovator who also made the list is Shiv Kumar. He is the cofounder of Kidaura, a tech platform that promises to make home-based education for autistic children more effective and fun.

Adrija Chakrabarti 

Adrija Chakrabarti battled PTSD and depression while single-handedly raising a child and was inspired to start the Mental Health Movement in Chandigarh. 

Bhagya Shree Jain

One of the notable inclusions is Bhagya Shree Jain. She aims to make plastic neutrality a mainstream sustainability concept, just like carbon neutrality. After studying waste-management solutions at university and working with the government, she founded The Disposal Company in 2020, to advise mostly fast-moving consumer goods companies on how to reduce their plastic footprint. 

Aniket Damle

Aniket Damle serves as a key member of the private equity investment team at Blackstone. Responsible for overseeing investments spanning the automotive, consumer, and industrial sectors across South Asia, he plays a crucial role in shaping strategic investment decisions.

Yeshu Agarwal

Yeshu Agarwal is the co-founder of Transak, a leading web-based payment gateway that streamlines the process of buying and selling non-fungible tokens and cryptocurrencies. His innovative approach has contributed significantly to simplifying digital asset transactions.

Srinivas Sarkar and Kushagra Manglik

Co-founded by Srinivas Sarkar and Kushagra Manglik, Coupl is a financial technology startup, designed to empower couples to manage their finances efficiently. With a focus on inclusivity, Coupl caters to couples of all sexual orientations and marital statuses, offering tailored solutions to enhance their financial well-being.

Akshit Bansal And Raghav Arora 

At the helm of Sharify Services in Gurgaon, Akshit Bansal and Raghav Arora lead the innovative brand Statiq. Their company boasts a nationwide network of electric vehicle charging stations catering to cars, buses, trucks, and three-wheelers. These stations feature rapid charging capabilities that replenish a vehicle's battery in just 15 minutes. With the added convenience of pre-booking time slots and remote charging management, consumers are offered seamless charging solutions.

Ankit Jaipuria 

Cofounded by Ankit Jaipuria in 2023, ZYOD seeks to be a one-stop service provider to India's small-and-medium sized fashion brands. The startup provides services including manufacturing, logistics and uses AI to create designs, based on individual customer needs. Last year, ZYOD raised $3.5 million in seed funding, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.
