Fino Payments Bank July Update: Loan Disbursals Jump Over 300%, Average Deposits Rise 12%

The number of deposit accounts increased 9% from a year ago to 3.28 lakh, indicating continued expansion in the bank's customer base.

Fino Payments Bank reported a mixed business update for July, with strong growth in its lending business and deposit base, while transaction throughput declined compared with the year-ago period.

The bank's loan disbursals surged 304% year-on-year to Rs 241 crore in July, compared with Rs 60 crore in the same month last year, reflecting robust momentum in its lending operations.

Average total deposits also registered healthy growth, rising 12% year-on-year to Rs 2,766 crore.

However, throughput transaction business declined 25% year-on-year to Rs 3,074 crore, suggesting moderation in transaction volumes during the month.

The company reported that new accounts opened during July 2026 rose 9% year-on-year (YoY) to 3.27 lakh. Renewal income increased 5% year-on-year to Rs 23.6 crore. The bank said its loan referral business continued to make strong progress.

However, throughput transaction business declined 25% year-on-year to Rs 3,074 crore, suggesting moderation in transaction volumes during the month. The moderation in throughput was attributed to the ongoing shift from cash-based transactions to Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

June Update

The company reported that new accounts opened during June 2026 rose 31% year-on-year (YoY) to 3.13 lakh. Loan referral disbursals jumped 253% YoY to Rs 240 crore, while renewal income increased 6% YoY to Rs 20.8 crore. The bank said its loan referral business continued to make strong progress.

However, transaction throughput declined 35% YoY to Rs 2,830 crore. The moderation in throughput was attributed to the ongoing shift from cash-based transactions to Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

Fino Payments Bank Share Price Today

The results were announced after market close. Fino Payments Bank shares closed 1.11% lower at Rs 159.68 per share on Thursday. The shares have fallen 1.05% in one week but risen 17.55% in one month. The shares are down 38.15% year-to-date and 25.78% in the last one year.
