Mumbai-based AAA Technologies Limited is expanding beyond cybersecurity audits into AI-powered threat detection, remediation and continuous risk monitoring, as it looks to grow its workforce tenfold from around 100 to 1,000 professionals. The company announced the strategic shift on October 13, positioning itself as a “Cyber Security Through AI” company.

Listed on both the NSE and BSE, AAA Technologies has completed more than 12,700 assignments over 25 years, primarily in cybersecurity audits, IT assurance and governance.

Four AI-Led Services to Drive Expansion

The company will introduce AI-driven cybersecurity audits, forensic audits incorporating deepfake analysis, compliance services for India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, and an annual AI-led cyber assurance programme combining continuous monitoring with periodic human reviews.

Whole-time Director Santosh Kumar Pandey said organisations increasingly need solutions that close security gaps rather than merely identify them.

The company plans to combine AI capabilities with remediation and ongoing monitoring to address evolving cyber threats and regulatory requirements.

Rising Cyber Risks Create New Opportunities

The expansion comes as cybersecurity risks and compliance obligations intensify. According to figures cited by the company, IBM's 2026 Cost of a Data Breach Report places India's average breach cost at Rs 25.5 crore, up 15.9% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, full compliance with the DPDP Rules is due by May 13, 2027, with penalties reaching Rs 250 crore for failures to maintain reasonable security safeguards. India's cybersecurity market will grow from US$8.58 billion in 2025 to US$16.86 billion by 2030.

New Management, Expanded Ambitions

Promoter Ashok Kumar Chordia said the company aims to build on its established relationships with regulators, banks and government institutions.

The ownership transition included the acquisition of a 34.38% stake by Jyotirgamya Advisory and Chordia, while the founding promoters exited.

AAA Technologies said details of its order book and business pipeline will be disclosed in a subsequent announcement.
