Reliance is offering free Jio SIM cards with the purchase of the newly-launched Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus in India from either company’s retail outlets.

Jio said in a media statement that the offer is also applicable on the purchase of older models such as the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone SE.

Under this offer, the user will get free access to Jio’s digital services for one year. Reliance claims the offer is worth over Rs 18,000. The monthly Rs 1,499 plan which Reliance is giving for free for a period of 12 months includes unlimited voice calling, 20 GB of 4G data, 40 GB of WiFi hotspot data, unlimited subscription to Jio applications and unlimited 4G data at night, the release said.

Reliance Jio, since its launch, has seen high demand from customers, with people lining up outside the company’s retail outlets for hours to get their hands on a Jio SIM card.

Reliance Jio confirmed to BloombergQuint that it will sell both the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus at the same price as other stores and e-commerce websites around the country.
