Competition from multi-billion dollar companies like Google does not make life easy for Hike Messenger, but its founder and chief executive officer Kavin Bharti Mittal is confident the online messenger service will continue to grow.

In the last three and half years we have proved that despite competition from the east and the west, we’ve done a good job of just going deep into the market and knowing what people want. As far as competition is concerned we are less worried about them and more about whether we are solving a problem that is relevant and whether we are doing a good job at that.

With The Advent Of 4G Services

At the beginning of the year saw the trend of shift from 2G to 4G. We really look forward to a market with 50-100 million consumers. It allows you to do things that you can not do before in communication.

Access To Foreign Funds

The Reserve Bank of India’s decision to relax external commercial borrowings limits for startups does get a thumbs up from Mittal, who says it paves the way for entire ecosystem to access more funds at a nascent stage.
