BMW Industries Shares Hit Upper Circuit Following Rs 1,764-Crore Order Win

The contract includes processing and conversion of coils at Tata Steel's Jamshedpur unit for a period up to March 31, 2029.

Shares of BMW Industries Ltd. surged 19.99% in Monday's trading session, hitting the upper circuit, after the company secured a Rs 1,764-crore order from Tata Steel Ltd.

The contract includes processing and conversion of coils at the company's Jamshedpur unit for a period up to March 31, 2029, according to an exchange filing on Monday.

BMW Industries Share Price

Shares of BMW Industries closed 17.04% higher at Rs 53.92 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.47% rise in the benchmark Nifty 50. The stock has fallen 8.83% in the last 12 months but risen 0.67% on a year-to-date basis.
