Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd, a part of the Mahindra group, on Friday launched a new motorcycle, Centuro N1, priced at Rs 45,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The company has said the motorbike delivers fuel economy of 85.4 kmpl (ARAI) and comes with an anti-theft alarm with engine immobiliser.
Launched at an attractive price, the Centuro N1 will enable new consumer segments to experience the incredible Centuro proposition, said Anoop Mathur, president of M&M's two wheeler sector and member of the group's executive board.
Mahindra Two Wheelers sold over 1 lakh units of the existing Centuro in 6 months.
"We have ramped up production at our state of the art Pithampur plant by introducing additional lines to meet the growing demand for Centuro, thereby reducing the waiting period to 7-10 days," Mahindra Two Wheelers executive vice president Viren Popli said.
The company has also focused on expanding sales and service network and has been setting up new touch points at the rate of almost two per day for the past two months, he added.
"We now have a network reach of 390 dealers and more than 1,000 touch points across the country. We will continue to expand this base," Mr Popli said.
