Mukesh Ambani Tops List Of Richest Indians By China's Hurun For 8th Straight Year

Hurun Rich List 2019: Mukesh Ambani has an estimated wealth of Rs 380,700 crore.

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has topped the "IIFL Wealth-Hurun India Rich List" for the eight consecutive year, with his wealth estimated at Rs 3,80,700 crore, a press release issued by China's Hurun Research Institute said. London-based SP Hinduja and family, worth Rs 1,86,500 crore, retained the second rank in the list. The founder of Wipro and philantrophist Azim Premji held third spot with a fortune of Rs 1,17,100 crore. LN Mittal, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal, stood at the fourth position with a wealth of Rs 1,07,300 crore, according to "Hurun India Rich List".

The number of Indians in the 2019 edition of the list has grown from 831 in 2018 to 953. The number of dollar billionaires has reduced from 141 to 138, the report said.

Among the richest Indian families too, the Ambani family held the top spot, followed by the Godrej family, which also has businesses in several verticals.
