Hotel Leelaventure Gets Investors' Nod to Raise Rs 1,000 Cr

New Delhi: Luxury hospitality chain Hotel Leelaventure on Wednesday said its shareholders have approved the proposal to raise additional long-term funds worth up to Rs 1,000 crore through securities.

The company's stakeholders have passed with requisite majority the special resolution "for raising additional long-term funds through further issue of securities up to Rs 1,000 crore", Hotel Leelaventure said in a filing to the BSE.

The hospitality chain had recently sold its Goa property on a slump sale basis for a consideration of Rs 725 crore to Ceres Hotels Pvt Ltd to pare debt.

Shares in Hotel Leelaventure, on Wednesday, ended 0.50 per cent lower at Rs 20 apiece on the BSE.
