The third instalment of Yash Raj Films' popular "Dhoom" franchise " is estimated to have pulled in a record Rs 107.61 crore in its first weekend.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh in a tweet said, "#Dhoom3 weekend breakup: Hindi Rs 100.76 cr, Tamil & Telugu Rs 6.85 cr. Weekend total [India]: Rs 107.61 cr nett. ALL TIME RECORD."
Earlier, the Aamir Khan-starrer action thriller had also smashed the opening weekend collection record for overseas markets. Dhoom 3 has grossed an estimated $3.3 million at the overseas box office - a new record for a Bollywood movie.

On Friday, the Vijay Krishna Acharya-directed action thriller earned a total of Rs.36.22 crore at the box office, an opening-day record at the domestic box office. On Saturday, the earnings were estimated at Rs.33.36 crore.
