New Delhi: Tour and travel firm Cox & Kings on Tuesday reported a 23.67 per cent dip in consolidated net profit at Rs 108.07 crore for the fiscal first quarter that ended on June 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs 141.60 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Consolidated total income from operations also declined to Rs 2,065.12 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal year as against Rs 2,131.80 crore for the corresponding period of 2015-16.
Shares in Cox & Kings, on Tuesday, ended 1.23 per cent lower at Rs 193.30 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished up 1.58 per cent.
