Early Wednesday morning, Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of murdering her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, was taken to Ganesh Das Hospital in Shillong for a medical examination. She is currently under a three-day transit remand with the Meghalaya Police.

In a circular dated June 10, 2025, the ministry informed all zones that this decision was made "to ensure that the benefits of the Tatkal Scheme are received by the common end users."

"With effect from 01-07-2025, tickets under Tatkal scheme can be booked through the website of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)/ its app only by Aadhaar authenticated users," the ministry said.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday assured residents that the national capital will not experience a flood-like situation in 2025, stating that her government is fully prepared, PTI reported.

The Cabinet has approved the doubling of the Koderma–Barkakana railway line, a project covering 133 km with an investment of Rs 3,063 crore.

Similarly, the Ballari–Chikjajur route is also being doubled, covering 185 km with an investment of Rs 3,342 crore.
