New rules came into effect on April 1 and placed additional obligations on CCTV makers. It has compelled Chinese firms such as Hikvision to secure certification for internet-linked CCTV systems through authorised government labs before sale. The directive extends to all units manufactured or imported from April 9 onwards.
As per Google Trends, “Chinese CCTVs” reached a peak value of 100 on March 30.

Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max
Curiosity around the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is already soaring, despite their launch still several months away. Apple is believed to be preparing a September launch for the Pro models and a foldable handset, with additional releases, such as the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and a next-generation iPhone Air, likely to arrive early next year.
Searches for “Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max” rose to 100 on April 2. Queries for “Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max price” surged by 200% over the past week.

IPL has once again taken centre stage, with fans actively searching for various matches. For example, searches for “csk vs pbks” saw a volume of 10 million over the past week. It hit a peak of 100 on April 3, the day of the match.
Other trending IPL-related queries over the past week include Cooper Connolly, SRH vs KKR, and LSG vs DC.
Dhurandhar
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is currently on a roll in the theatres, and the same is visible on Google Trends. It has been heavily searched throughout the past week, though it's also seen a declining trend.
