According to police officials, a drone was deployed to film a sequence during the shoot despite no official permission being granted for its use. The FIR states the team proceeded with the drone operation in violation of regulations governing unmanned aerial vehicles in sensitive zones.

The entire film crew, including actor Sanjay Dutt, was reportedly present at the location during the incident on Feb 1.

The Fort precinct had been extensively dressed for the production from Jan 30 onward, transformed to resemble an old, bustling street in Pakistan for the film sequence. Police inquiries are ongoing, and further action will depend on the outcome of the investigation.
