The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board is set to release the 2nd PUC (Class 12) results for the year 2026 today at 3 pm. Students who appeared in the exams can check and obtain their scorecards from the official websites, including karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates should ensure they have their login information ready for smooth result access.
The 2nd PUC assessments took place from February 28 to March 17, 2026, with over 710,000 students from more than 5,100 PU colleges enrolling for the exams this year.
Follow these steps to check & download the KSEAB 2nd PUC results
Step 1: Go to the official Karnataka board website – karresults.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click the ‘PUC II Result 2026' link
Step 3: Input your registration number and select the respective stream – science, commerce, or arts
Step 4: Click the submit button
Step 5: Verify and download your results for future reference.
Supplementary Exams 2026
Students who do not succeed in one or more subjects during Exam 1 are eligible to take the supplementary examination (Exam 2), which is set to take place from April 25 to May 9, 2026. The application form, along with the schedule for Exam 2, will be made available on the official KSEAB website shortly after the results of Exam 1 are announced.
Minimum required passing marks
This week, the Karnataka Board also revealed that the minimum required pass percentage has been lowered to 30% from the former standard of 35%. Students must score at least 30 marks in each subject (merging written and practical/internal scores) and an overall aggregate of 33% (198 out of 600) to complete the course.

Last year, the PUC results were unveiled on April 8, 2025, showcasing an overall pass percentage of 73.45%. Approximately 6.37 lakh students participated in the examination. Female candidates excelled, with 77.8% of the 3.4 lakh girls passing, in contrast to 68.2% of the 2.9 lakh boys completing the examination.
