In a few days from now, Xiaomi is all set to mark the global launch of its Xiaomi 17 series in select international markets. This will tentatively feature the Xiaomi 17 as well as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which includes a 1-inch ultra dynamic camera.
Notably, the standard Xiaomi 17 marked its debut in China in September last year along with the Pro and Pro Max variants. The Ultra model was later released in December 2025.
As per the official website, the upcoming series will be launched on Feb. 28.

The event will take place in Barcelona, while fans in India will be able to watch it live from 6:30 p.m.
What To Expect?
A major highlight on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone is the 1-inch ultra dynamic camera that comes with over "6× increased per-pixel light capacity." In a post on X, the company stated that it unlocks "extraordinary dynamic range — preserving intense highlights and nuanced shadows in a single frame."

Sharing a few photographs clicked with the handset, the company has claimed that the device "captures night as it truly appears."

Being touted as the "Master of Night," the Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a Leica 200 MP 75-100mm telephoto lens. This movable mechanical optical zoom system offers "true, continuous optical quality," the company said.
"Every zoom level uses the full sensor area for sharp, consistent results," it added.
Xiaomi has even teased a "Starlit Green" variant for the smartphone.
Ahead of the Feb. 28 event, the company's website states that Xiaomi 17 series buyers will get a 24-month "quality assurance plan" along with one free screen replacement within the first six months. Further, customers get out-of-warranty repairs without paying labour charges during the warranty period.
Apart from the Ultra model, the company earlier teased an exclusive new colour for the Xiaomi 17 model.

Prices For Xiaomi 17 Series
The Xiaomi 17's base variant is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is tipped to be priced at EUR 999 (nearly Rs 1,07,000). The 12GB + 512GB variant could carry a price tag of EUR 1,099 (about Rs 1,18,000).
Among the expected colour options are Black, Green, Blue, and Pink.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra might get introduced at EUR 1,499 (around Rs 1,61,000) for the 16GB + 512GB variant and EUR 1,699 (about Rs 1,83,000) for the 16GB + 1TB RAM option. The global variant of the smartphone is expected to come out in Black, White, and Green colour options.
In India, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra might be priced at around Rs 1,25,000.
