Flipkart has knocked it down to Rs 1,26,900 as part of its Freedom Sale, timed to the Independence Day shopping window, and buyers paying with an eligible SBI or Flipkart Axis Bank credit card could see the effective cost drop closer to Rs 1,21,900 once cashback and EMI perks are factored in.
The Pro Max isn't left out either: its usual Rs 1,49,900 sticker comes down to Rs 1,41,900, with room for further savings through the same card-linked offers. Flipkart has also teased a sub-Rs 80,000 price for the base iPhone 17, though it hasn't published the exact figure yet.
Retailers Typically Clear Stock Before A New Launch
The discounts land at a predictable moment: Apple is widely tipped to reveal its iPhone 18 series within weeks, and retailers routinely trim prices on the outgoing generation right before a new one arrives. Amazon is expected to run a comparable push through its own Great Freedom Sale, though it hasn't listed official iPhone 17 pricing yet, so any numbers circulating for that platform should be treated as unverified for now.
Discounts Reach Back To The iPhone 15 And 16 Too
Flipkart's price cuts aren't confined to the newest models. The iPhone 16, normally Rs 69,900, is listed at Rs 61,999, while the iPhone 15 falls from Rs 59,900 to Rs 52,999, with an effective price of Rs 55,900 once additional offers kick in.
The iPhone 16 Plus, meanwhile, comes down to an effective Rs 75,900 against its usual Rs 79,900. Between the flagship cuts and the older-generation deals, buyers weighing an upgrade have a genuine reason to compare prices now, though it may still be worth checking Amazon's listings once its own sale goes live in case better offers surface there.
