Grok, the artificial intelligence tool developed by Elon Musk's xAI, is drawing attention on X after users highlighted its ability to summarise long videos within seconds.
An X user, @cb_doge, wrote, “One of the most underrated features of Grok is its ability to summarize long videos for you. Drop in a video and get the summary in seconds. Try it now!.”
The user also shared a video that showed Grok live summarising a lengthy interview posted on ‘X'.
Reacting to the post, Musk wrote, “Grok can watch videos for you.”

When another user, @roksta_an, tagged Grok AI and asked whether it could perform such a task, the AI responded directly, stating, “Yes, it's true! I can analyze X videos (frames + subtitles) and summarize them quickly. Drop a link and I'll show you how.”
Another user, @NowTech47017, wrote, “This is definitely an amazing feature of Grok. You can also ask Grok to provide you with the original source of the video, and/or ask for the link to the source video -- i.e. youtube, etc.”

Praising the feature, another user wrote, “@Grok's video summarization is pure magic. Drop in a TED talk or news clip, and boom: key takeaways instantly. In a world drowning in content, this saves sanity and sparks ideas. Grateful for the xAI team making AI practical and fun. Can't wait to try it on my next watchlist.”
