Google is expected to launch its highly anticipated Pixel 10 series on Aug. 13 at a 'Made by Google' event.
Tipster @MysteryLupin revealed the launch date on social media platform X on June 2. Pixel fans will not have to wait too long as the handsets will be made available in stores a week later on Aug. 20, according to a report by The Verge.

The Google Pixel 9 series made its global debut on Aug. 13 last year. But the phones took a little longer to go on sale, while the 9 Pro Fold was made available only after almost a month.

Google might even introduce its Pixel Watch 4 during the same event.

The Pixel 10 is expected to feature a third camera sensor on the back, presumably a telephoto. This would give it a big upgrade from the two back cameras, a wide and an ultra-wide, found on earlier generations.
AdvertisementHowever, rumours have stated that Pixel 10 might get 48MP wide and 13MP ultra-wide lenses—similar to Pixel 9a. This will be a drop from the 50MP and 48MP lenses of the Pixel 9.
On the other hand, the 10 Pro and Pro XL models are expected to get the same 50MP-48MP-48MP camera pack as the current 9 Pro phones.
AdvertisementLast month, Mystic Leaks claimed the company was introducing fresh colour options for the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL models.
It stated the Pixel 10 could be available in Obsidian (Black), Blue (Blue), Iris (Purple), and Limoncello (Yellow).
Among the colour options expected for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL phones are Obsidian (Black), Green, Sterling (Grey), and Porcelain (White).
Powered by the Tensor G5 chipset, the Pixel 10 smartphones could feature a 6.3-inch display, 4,700mAh battery, higher PWM dimming and loads of artificial intelligence (AI) features. While fans can expect minor changes in the design, the handset might come with Android 16 out of the box.
