Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September 2026, likely alongside the company's debut foldable, dubbed the iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra. While the foldable will understandably arrive with a premium price tag, there may be good news for Apple fans if recent reports are to be trusted. A noted analyst recently said that Apple may surprise everyone with its pricing strategy for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max despite rising costs of components, particularly RAM prices.
Noted analyst Jeff Pu has suggested that Apple may adopt an aggressive pricing strategy for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. He expects the starting prices of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to stay the same or increase only slightly compared to the current iPhone 17 Pro models. This approach could help Apple strengthen its position in the premium smartphone market even as it faces higher memory costs in the ongoing quarter.
Pu opines that thanks to its massive scale, Apple enjoys better negotiating power with suppliers than most Android manufacturers. The company is also expected to offset some of the RAM cost increases by reducing expenses in other areas, such as displays and cameras.
If these predictions hold true, the iPhone 18 Pro line may carry the same launch prices as the iPhone 17 Pro series. Basis that, below could be the expected prices.

In the U.S., the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to start at $1,099 for the 256GB model, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could begin at $1,199.
In the U.K., prices are projected to start at GBP 1,099 for the Pro and GBP 1,199 for the Pro Max.
In India, the iPhone 18 Pro is likely to start at Rs 134,900 and the Pro Max at Rs 149,900.
Canadian pricing is expected to begin at CAD 1,599 for the Pro and CAD 1,749 for the Pro Max.
In the UAE, the iPhone 18 Pro should start at AED 4,699 and the Pro Max at AED 5,099.
