Yashasvi Jaiswal's fiery knock of 77 in 32 deliveries helped Rajasthan Royals crush Mumbai Indians by 27 runs in a rain-affected 2026 Indian Premier League match in Guwahati on Tuesday. Inclement weather in Guwahati meant the match started late Tuesday and was reduced to an 11-over per side affair.
Once the weather cleared, RR captain Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to bat first. Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gave the team a breathtaking start as the pair stitched an 80-run stand in under five overs. Sooryavanshi produced one of the standout moments of this IPL season as he clobbered pace ace Jasprit Bumrah for two sixes in an over. The teenager was dismissed after a quickfire cameo of 39 off 14 balls.

Jaiswal was unstoppable, smashing 10 fours and 4 sixes, guiding Rajasthan to 150/4 in their allotted overs.
Mumbai's run chase never took off as the five-time champions could only score 124/9 in 11 overs.
