India's active Covid-19 tally continued its six-day declining streak as daily recoveries continue to exceed fresh additions.
The country reported 14,092 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry's update as of 8 a.m. on Aug. 12. That compares with single-day recoveries at 16,454.
Active cases reached 1.16 lakh.
