The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India released subscriber data for February 2022.

Here are the key highlights:

The decline in gross subscriber base for the industry continued for the third consecutive month in February 2022 (down 3.7m to 1,142m versus a 9.4m fall in January 2022) as the industry continues to witness a consolidation in SIM cards.

The number of active subscribers, however, grew 9.5m to 1,016m.
