For the upcoming session, market analysts, who spoke to NDTV Profit, have identified high-conviction trading ideas within the Nifty 50 basket, with top picks including IT heavyweight Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), pharma major Sun Pharma, and Eternal.
Here are the top three stock picks and trading strategies:
Tata Consultancy Services
Osho Krishan, Chief Manager of Technical and Derivative Research at Angel One, sees upside in the IT sector. He has recommended a buy on TCS, advising traders to enter the stock at Rs 2,400. He set an upside target of Rs 2,480 and suggested protecting the position with a strict stop loss at Rs 2,345.
Sun Pharma
Krishan also identified a short-term buying opportunity in the pharmaceutical space, placing a buy call on Sun Pharma. He recommended entering the stock at Rs 1,750 for a target of Rs 1,775, while maintaining a stop loss at Rs 1,735.
Eternal
Nilesh Jain, VP and Head of Technical and Derivative Research at Centrum Finverse Ltd, highlighted a long opportunity in Eternal. He set a target price of Rs 250 for the stock, advising traders to keep a stop loss maintained at Rs 232.
