Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna on Thursday shared the first photos from nuptials hours after wedding ceremony.
Vijay and Rashmika tied the knot on Thursday at a luxury hotel on the outskirts of Udaipur,
Their pre-wedding festivities were held over the following two days. The main Telugu wedding rituals were performed at 10:10 am, a time chosen in keeping with traditional customs.
"One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would've been better if she were around. Like my meals would've felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like my workouts would've been more fun and less of a punishment if she were doing them with me. Like I needed her - just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was. So, I made my best friend… my wife. 😀❤️ 26.02.2026," Vijay wrote in a caption.
Sharing pictures, Rashmika wrote, "Hi my loves, Introducing to you now “My Husband”! 💘 Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! ❤️"
On Wednesday, Vijay had offered fans a peek at the elaborate Haldi setup through his Instagram Stories. The visuals showed circular outdoor space where two small wooden stools were placed at the centre for the bride and groom. Baskets of bright yellow and orange marigold petals surround the area.
In another story, the actor shared a close-up of personalised flower-shaped name placards — one reading "Rushie", a nickname for Rashmika, and the other "Vijay" — placed among fresh lilies, roses and marigolds.
Similarly, Mandanna shared two pictures. The first photo featured a round table covered in a yellow striped floral tablecloth and some chairs surround the table, while the second image showed a playful decor element featuring an illustrated backdrop of two cartoon dogs wearing sunglasses, riding in a yellow convertible under a tree.

Elaborate security arrangements were made at and around the hotel venue. Private bouncers as well as police personnel have been deployed to ensure security during the wedding festivities. The security arrangement also include restrictions on drones to avoid any leak of photographs and videos from the high profile wedding.
On Tuesday, Vijay and Rashmika shared pictures suggesting they played a friendly cricket match with friends at the hotel premises, which they named the "VIROSH Premier League". Rashmika also shared an image of the pre-wedding food arrangements with the dinner table decorated with pink tulips and white flowers.
The couple, who worked together on films such as "Geetha Govindam" and "Dear Comrade", have dated for seven years but publicly confirmed the relationship only recently.
Vijay has featured in several successful Telugu films, including "Arjun Reddy" and enjoys a significant fan following across India while Rashmika, a leading actress in Telugu and Kannada cinema, gained widespread recognition with films such as "Geetha Govindam", "Pushpa: The Rise" and "Animal".
