Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda's wedding was more than a star-studded affair — it was a heartfelt blend of love, tradition and storytelling through design. The couple tied the knot on February 26, 2026, at the breathtaking ITC Mementos near Udaipur in the presence of close friends and family. They began their day with traditional Telugu rituals at 10:10 am and later honoured Rashmika's roots with a Kodava ceremony. Dressed in custom Anamika Khanna outfits and styled by Ami Patel, every detail of their look told a story.
Taking to Instagram to share the wedding visuals, the designer Anamika Khanna posted a heartfelt note for the newlyweds, writing, “Wishing @rashmika_mandanna and @thedeverakonda all the love, the happiness, and everything this world can offer.” She then decoded the thought and craftsmanship behind both looks in detail.
Describing the bride's ensemble, Anamika Khanna wrote:
“For Rashmika - Draped in a rich rust saree framed with a striking red border, Rashmika Mandanna's wedding look is a celebration of sacred artistry. Temple-house motifs are intricately embroidered across the drape, echoing the carved sanctums and spiritual geometry of Hyderabad's heritage. Detailed hand embroidery in antique gold brings depth and luminosity, transforming the saree into a canvas of devotion and craftsmanship. Regal yet graceful, the ensemble embodies feminine strength rooted in tradition.”
What made it even more special was that the saree was gifted to her by Vijay's mother, Madhavi Deverakonda.

Her jewellery from Shree Jewellers was grand and traditional. She wore a choker layered with long harams, along with a mathapatti, maang tikka, baajubandhs, a nose ring, kadas, stacked bangles and a hath phool. Her oversized jhumkas were connected to her hair with gold chains, making the look even more striking. Rashmika kept her makeup fresh and minimal with nude lips, defined eyeliner and a small red bindi. Her hair was parted in the centre, left in soft waves and decorated with mogra flowers and a beautiful jada billa. The tiny dishti chukka on her cheek added a protective and cultural touch.
The designer described Vijay's ensemble in equally symbolic terms:
“For Vijay - Rooted in the textile legacy of Hyderabad, Vijay Deverakonda's wedding ensemble draws from the strength of the Vanasingaram weave. An ivory dhoti silhouette is paired with a striking vermillion angavastram, embroidered with forest and temple-inspired motifs — symbols of power, lineage and sacred architecture.”
He completed it with layered temple necklaces, a snake-chain, kadas, cuffs, a kamarbandh, a baajuband, stud earrings, an anklet and alta on his hands and feet. In one touching detail, his angavastram was tied to Rashmika's pallu, symbolising their union.
The varmala ceremony turned into one of the most memorable moments, with both actors visibly teary-eyed, their happiness lighting up every frame. From meeting on the sets of Geetha Govindam in 2018 to building a quiet eight-year relationship, their journey was reflected in the warmth of the pictures.

Apart from stylist Ami Patel, the team includes hairstylist Sourav Roy, makeup artist Tanvi Chemburkar and photography team House on the Clouds, who together brought the vision to life.
With these deeply symbolic ensembles, Anamika Khanna didn't just design wedding outfits — she created a visual legacy where craft, culture and love came together in their most timeless form. With the sacred colours, temple jewellery and the calm, powerful energy they carried, fans lovingly called their wedding look “Shiv-Parvati coded”.
