A fresh mix of action, romance, comedy and suspense is arriving on Zee5, Netflix, SonyLIV and Prime Video this weekend, offering viewers plenty of new films to add to their watchlist. 

Jana Nayagan (ZEE5)

The Tamil political action thriller is centred on a former police officer whose life takes a dramatic turn after he becomes responsible for his late friend's traumatised daughter. As he helps her overcome her fears and rebuild her life, he is drawn into a much larger battle involving power, corruption and threats to the country.

The film stars Vijay in the lead role alongside Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju, with Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Narain also part of the cast. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist, while the story combines personal drama with political conflict and action.

Chennai Love Story (SonyLIV)

Tamil romantic drama stars Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya. The story follows Nivedita, whose life falls apart after her fiancé leaves her on their wedding day. Struggling to move on, she relocates to Chennai, where she meets Steven Shankar, an aspiring filmmaker who helps her slowly find happiness again.

As the two grow closer and fall in love, their relationship takes an emotional turn following an unexpected tragedy. The film also stars Thrigun, Sirisha Hanumanth, Naveen Neni and others.
