Dhurandhar 2 Day 5 Box Office Collection: Monday Fall After Record Weekend, Rs 500 Crore Within Reach

Dhurandhar: The Revenge continued its strong run at the box office on Day 5, although the film saw a noticeable dip on Monday after a massive opening weekend. According to early live estimates from Sacnilk, the film collected around Rs 21.93 crore on its fifth day so far, taking its total India net collection to Rs 476.05 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 567.85 crore so far.

The film, which is currently running across 12,529 shows nationwide, recorded an overall occupancy of 35.5% on Day 5. The drop in numbers comes as expected after the film's exceptional weekend performance, where it saw continuous growth and crossed Rs 450 crore within just four days.

Looking at the day-wise trend, Dhurandhar 2 opened with Rs 43 crore in paid previews and went on to collect Rs 102.55 crore on Day 1. It earned Rs 80.72 crore on Day 2 before witnessing a strong jump over the weekend, collecting Rs 113 crore on Saturday and Rs 114.85 crore on Sunday. The sharp fall on Monday reflects a typical weekday trend, but the film continues to hold steady overall.

In terms of language-wise performance, the Hindi version remains the biggest contributor, earning Rs 20.14 crore on Day 5 from 11,272 shows with an occupancy of 35.3%. The Telugu version collected Rs 1.42 crore with a higher occupancy of 44% across 798 shows, while the Tamil version brought in Rs 0.37 crore with 26% occupancy from 459 shows. Interestingly, the Telugu version recorded the highest occupancy among all languages.

Region-wise, the film performed best in the National Capital Region with 37% occupancy, followed by Jaipur and Chandigarh at 36%. Cities like Pune and Lucknow recorded around 34%, while Bengaluru stood at 30% and Mumbai at 28%. Surat reported the lowest occupancy at just 9%, indicating weaker weekday footfall in some markets. In the Telugu belt, cities like Vizag saw strong occupancy at 59%, while Karimnagar recorded 50%, showing steady interest in select regions.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features Ranveer Singh in the lead along with R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Yami Gautam and Sara Arjun. The spy-action thriller follows an Indian intelligence agent navigating high-risk missions and personal revenge, with the film shot across multiple locations in India and Thailand.

Despite the weekday dip, Dhurandhar 2 remains on a strong trajectory and is expected to cross the Rs 500 crore mark soon if it maintains its pace through the week.
