What To Expect From Black Mirror Season 8

Specific story details and episode plots for Season 8 have not been revealed. As an anthology series, Black Mirror typically presents a different story and set of characters in each episode, often focusing on technology, society and the darker side of human behaviour.

Brooker previously explained to Netflix Tudum that he thinks of each season like a music album, considering what ideas have already been explored and what tone he wants to create next. He also hinted that the upcoming season could continue to experiment with different styles.

Black Mirror's Return To Netflix

This season follows the sixth and seventh seasons, which kept the show's mix of science fiction, technology-based stories, and social issues.

While Netflix has confirmed that production is underway, fans will have to wait for an official release date. Details about the episode count, cast and individual storylines are also yet to be announced.

With Brooker once again leading the creative team, Season 8 is expected to bring more standalone stories while maintaining the unique tone that has defined Black Mirror since its debut.
