The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE) has declared the Class 12 board exam results, Secretary of School Education B Chandra Mohan announced on Friday. Students can view the TNDGE HSE results 2026 through the official board websites— tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.
The overall pass percentage is 95.20%. Girls once again outperformed, scoring a pass percentage of 97%, compared to 93.19% for boys.

Follow these steps to check & download results
Step 1: Navigate to the official TN results portal – tnresults.nic.in.
Step 2. On the main page, click the link ‘TN HSE(+2) Result 2026'.
Step 3. Input your registration number and birth date.
Step 4. Click on the button that says – ‘Obtain Marks' to access the TN Class 12 result 2026.
Step 5. Download the TN HSE +2 marksheet.
The TN Plus Two examinations took place from March 2 to March 26, in 3,412 centres statewide. The assessments began with language papers, including Tamil. A total of 8,27,475 students had registered for the higher secondary exams, comprising 7.99 lakh regular attendees and 27,783 private candidates.
Supplementary exam 2026
Those who do not succeed in these exams can take the +2 supplementary exams. Information regarding the supplementary exam will be announced shortly. Last year, they were held from June 25 to July 2, with the results declared on July 25.
