The much-anticipated Taj Mahotsav will return to Agra from Feb. 18 to 27, with festivities taking place near the Windham Garden Hotel on Fatehabad Road.
Spanning 10 days, the festival will offer a sweeping showcase of India's artistic and cultural traditions, bringing together handicrafts, regional cuisines, folk performances, music and dance under one roof.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic Taj Mahal, the event aims to celebrate the country's diverse heritage. The Taj Mahotsav Committee has been organising the event since 1992 under the supervision of the Agra Divisional Commissioner.

Taj Mahotsav 2026 will be held at Shilpgram, Agra, located about 500-600 metres away from the Eastern gate of Taj Mahal.

Entry for adults has been fixed at Rs 50 per person, while it's free for children aged three years and below. Foreign visitors will not be required to purchase tickets. Special concessions will be offered to schools for student groups. Schools will be charged Rs 700 for a group of at least 50 students, while two accompanying teachers will be allowed free entry.
Organisers have clarified that no separate passes are needed for cultural performances, as general entry tickets cover access to all programmes. Tickets will be available at counters set up at all entry gates, and visitors have been asked to queue and cooperate with security personnel.

The year marks the 35th edition of the Taj Mahotsav, a milestone that underlines the festival's growing stature on India's cultural calendar.
This year's celebrations will bring together nearly 400 artisans from across the country, offering visitors a rare chance to explore traditional craftsmanship. The programme is complemented by a rich line-up of performances, with musicians and dancers from diverse backgrounds delivering spellbinding displays. Folk and classical traditions from several regions, particularly Brij Bhumi in Uttar Pradesh, will showcase their centuries-old history.
Alongside the artistic offerings, the festival's diverse culinary spread and a popular funfair make it an appealing destination for Indian tourists and foreign visitors alike.
