Senior advocate and Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has declared total assets worth Rs 2,860.36 crore in an affidavit filed for the Rajya Sabha election. The disclosure includes assets held by Singhvi and his wife.
The affidavit places Singhvi among the richest candidates in the current election process. It details his income, investments, valuables and personal belongings.
According to a report by Financial Express, the affidavit submitted during the nomination process shows that Singhvi and his wife together hold assets valued at Rs 2,860.36 crore. The filings cover a range of items including investments, collectibles and other possessions.

The document also shows a rise in Singhvi's declared income over recent years. For the financial year 2024–25, Singhvi reported an income of Rs 374 crore. This compares with Rs 158 crore declared for the financial year 2020–21.
Over the five-year period between 2020 and 2025, his cumulative declared income crossed Rs 1,516 crore.
The affidavit also lists artworks and paintings owned by Singhvi valued at more than Rs 25 crore. The filing states that he has not declared any outstanding loans.
The document includes details of office equipment and household appliances. The valuations reflect depreciated values of items used over time.
One entry in the affidavit lists an old computer at a depreciated value of Rs 163. The same item had been valued at Rs 454 in the 2024 filing, according to the document, reflecting depreciation over time.
Election Outcome
Singhvi was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha after the nomination of independent candidate Kante Sayanna was rejected due to insufficient proposers.
Another candidate, Vem Narender Reddy, was also elected unopposed. Reddy declared total family assets worth Rs 41 crore in his affidavit and reported no criminal cases against him.
