Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Jammu and Kashmir to inaugurate the final leg of the ambitious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project on April 19 has been postponed. PM Modi was also going to inaugurate the Vande Bharat Express from Katra to Srinagar.

Ministry of Railways, took to X to share the reasons behind the postponement of the event. "Postponement news - due to adverse weather forecast inauguration program of USBRL is postponed for a few days. Next date will be informed when decided."
