The Parliamentary Consultative Committee of the civil aviation ministry on Friday discussed the next phase of the regional air connectivity scheme UDAN, reforms in the Flying Training Organisation (FTO) ecosystem and the transformation of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA).
The meeting, chaired by Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu, was attended by various Parliamentarians. Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol and senior ministry officials were also present at the meeting held in Mysuru.
An official release said the Parliamentary Consultative Committee of the civil aviation ministry met outside the national capital for the first time since 2017.
The committee discussed the next phase of UDAN, reforms in the FTO ecosystem and the transformation of IGRUA, the release said.
