Pahalgam Terror Attack Mastermind Among Three Killed In Operation Mahadev: Report

The "mastermind" behind the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam is among the three killed by Indian forces in Jammu & Kashmir, NDTV reported on Monday, citing sources.

The "mastermind" has been identified in the report as Suleman Shah, a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist. Along with him, two other other "terrorists" — Abu Hamza and Yasir — have been killed, it added.

The crackdown was carried out under Operation Mahadev, which the Indian armed forces launched in Lidwas, located in Srinagar's Harwan.

"Three terrorists have been neutralised in an intense firefight. Operation continues," the official X account of the Indian Army's Chinar Corps. The identity of those eliminated was not officially disclosed.
