IMD stated, “Isolated light rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds, with wind speed reaching (30-50 kmph), likely over Madhya Pradesh on 27th and 29th-31st March; Chhattisgarh during the next 7 days; Vidarbha during the next 5 days,” on 26 March. In Maharashtra, Mumbai and suburbs will look at clear skies and hot weather conditions, with maximum temperatures of around 35 degrees Celsius, while minimum at 23 degrees Celsius on Friday.

Capital City Delhi

According to IMD data, Delhi's temperatures are expected to peak between 29°C and 31°C, with lows ranging from 19°C to 21°C. While maximum temperatures remain near the seasonal average, the city is experiencing a warmer-than-usual stretch, with minimums sitting 1.6°C to 3.0°C above normal across most areas. Adjoining areas of Delhi, Yamunanagar, Karnal and Kurukshetra in Haryana, expect heavy rains, and areas in East Uttar Pradesh will witness very light rain today.
